Built upon an existing tug, the seaworthy boat used for the broader shots was shot on the open sea in False Bay, Cape Town. A Renja.

This is an earlier dimentioned drawing, we would change the hull substantialy to make it easier to built and match the Renja.

This is the Renja with plant on cabins. Before paint and set deck did their magic.

The last tug boat is ready for the shot. Set Dec and paint both did a fantastic job.

The final ship's appearance in the opening title sequence made me very happy. When I initially realised the ladder was on the port side, I was surprised. The shot is obviously mirrored when examined more closely.
